This policy explains what we collect when you buy from South Palmer, why, and what we do with it.
South Palmer is a brand owned and operated by NorAm World Trade, No. 21/22, Olympia Cyberspace, 2nd Street, Alandur Road, Arulayammanpet, Guindy, Chennai, Tamil Nadu 600032, India. NorAm World Trade is the data controller for the information described below.
What we collect
- Order details — name, delivery address, email, phone number, and what you ordered.
- Payment information — handled entirely by our payment provider. Card and UPI details never reach our systems and we cannot see them.
- Site usage — standard analytics on pages viewed and device type, through our store platform.
Why we hold it
To pack and deliver your order, to contact you about it, to handle returns, and to meet tax and food-safety record-keeping obligations. We use your email for marketing only if you opt in, and you can unsubscribe at any time.
Who we share it with
Only the parties who need it to complete your order:
- Our courier partner — name, address and phone number, so they can deliver and call ahead.
- Our payment provider — to process and, where needed, refund payment.
- Our store platform, which hosts this site and its order records.
- Advertising platforms, where you have arrived from one of our advertisements, so we can measure whether that advertisement worked.
We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with data brokers.
How long we keep it
Order and invoice records are kept as long as Indian tax and food-business rules require. Marketing contact details are kept until you unsubscribe.
Your choices
Write to hello@southpalmer.com to ask what we hold about you, to correct it, to have it deleted, or to withdraw consent for marketing. We will respond within a reasonable period. Records we are legally required to retain cannot be deleted on request.
Security
This site runs over HTTPS and order data is held in our store platform's systems. No system is perfect, and we will tell affected customers promptly if we ever become aware of a breach involving their data.
Children
This store is not intended for use by children, and we do not knowingly collect data from them.
Changes
If this policy changes materially we will update this page and change the date below.
