Returns & Refunds
We want you to be happy with what arrives. We also sell food, which limits what we can take back — both are true, so this policy tries to be straight about each.
Damaged, wrong or spoiled on arrival
If your order arrives damaged, leaking, opened, or is not what you ordered, we will replace it or refund it in full. No return shipping, no argument.
Write to hello@southpalmer.com within 48 hours of delivery with your order number and photographs of the outer parcel, the seal, and the contents. We need the photographs to claim against the courier, so please take them before discarding the packaging.
Unopened packs
An unopened, unbroken vacuum pack can be returned within 7 days of delivery. Write to us first for a return address. Return shipping is at your cost unless the fault was ours, and the refund is issued once the pack reaches us and the seal is confirmed intact.
Opened packs
Once the vacuum seal is broken we cannot accept a return. This is a food safety limit, not a commercial one — we have no way to confirm how a dried food product has been stored after it leaves our control, and we will not resell it.
If an opened pack is genuinely not right — off smell, mould, anything that should not be there — that is a quality failure, not a return. Contact us with photographs and we will replace or refund it.
Natural variation is not a defect
Our anjeer is sun-dried without sulphur or bleach, so colour, size and softness vary between pieces and between harvests. Uniform pale fruit is usually the result of chemical treatment. Variation is the product working as intended and is not grounds for a return.
Cancellations
You can cancel any order that has not yet been dispatched, for a full refund. Once a parcel is handed to the courier it cannot be cancelled — refuse delivery instead and tell us, and we will refund it once the parcel returns to us.
How refunds are paid
Refunds go back to the original payment method. Once we approve a refund it typically reaches your account within 5–7 working days, depending on your bank. We do not issue cash refunds or store credit unless you ask for it.
