Whole green pods. The pods are kept intact because the seed inside stays aromatic for months that way, and loses it in days once ground.

How to use it

Bruise a pod with the flat of a knife before adding it to biryani, kheer or chai. For a fine powder, peel the pods and grind just the seeds.

Storage

Store in an airtight container in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight. Best before the date printed on the pack.
