Groundnuts pressed cold, filtered, and tinned. No heat, no solvent, no refining, which is why it still smells of peanut. The five litre tin is the one most kitchens that cook daily end up buying.
What you get
Cold pressed, single pressing.
Not refined, bleached or deodorised.
Nothing blended in.
How to use it
The standard frying and tempering oil across South India. Cloudiness in cool weather is normal for unrefined oil and clears when it warms. It has a lower smoke point than refined oil, so keep the flame moderate.
Storage
Keep the tin closed, out of direct sunlight, somewhere cool. Unrefined oil is sensitive to light and heat. Best before the date printed on the pack.
